hi Ian,i think your question needs more information from you on what criteria you will be making your choice. I did the same as you and i am also a born again shooter and to be honest in my choice none of the 2 guns you mention was on my list for my new gun choice , i am not saying the the guns you choose are by any means no good ,just that everyone has a different order of importance before choosing IE:-price range,what make,what guage,steel or lead,new or second hand,chamber size,choked, length of barrel,what type of shooting you intend doing,all these will have an impact on the final choice,i could go on with other requirements but think it sufficient with what i have put to confuse you even more .I found the best way that helped me was go into several gunshops (Some are very helpfull if they think you are going to buy

) , dont rush with your choice and i am sure you will come to a good choice. The reason i didnt give my choice of which gun to get is that there is a lot more information that people would need to know about what requirements you want and need before offering one.I hope this helps .Rod
